Epoxy Door Table

This Epoxy Table project was a particularly unique one for us in which we turned a door into a table.

The project began when the customer brought in the door from his childhood home. They asked if we could preserve it in epoxy resin and make it useful as a table.

We encased the door in a thick layer of resin making sure to fill the gaps left by the panelling to create a smooth flat surface on top (apart from the door handle). The finished resin ended up being almost an inch and a half thick in some places meaning that the panelling on the door is well protected.

We also used a UV resistant and waterproof resin so the door is protected from the elements.
