Consultation Phase
During the consultation phase you have free reign to change anything you want for your table. At this stage you select the type of wood, size and shape of table and the leg style, and most importantly what colour resin and effect you would like. Not forgetting any little extras, such as remote-controlled fibre optics or any specific items you may want adding.
Epoxy resin
Once all your choices are confirmed and we have your deposit, it’s time to begin the project. At this stage in the process, we will make you a small resin sample square so you have an idea of what your finished table will look like.
We Get to work
Once you are happy with the table design and have given us the go ahead, we will get to work. Normally the lead time for making a table, depending on the design and size, would be approximately six weeks, though it may take longer if there is a large amount of resin used or a complicated design.
Frequently asked Questions
What Is Epoxy Resin?
Epoxy Resin is a mix of two different liquids which combine in an exothermic reaction and cure in to a solid durable material which is perfect for tables. Pigment is added to the resin whilst in liquid form so it can be made in a multitude of colours and designs.
How durable are epoxy resin tables?
We use the best resin in the UK which is very durable. And, with the extra top coat we offer there is no reason your table wont last for many years. Our tables are watertight and completely UV resistant. Even if the table happens to get scratched it can usually be buffed out or a new top coat applied to make it look good as new. Our suppliers have even posted a video of them trying to break an epoxy resin surface with weights and hammers but with limited success.
Can you epoxy over a piece of furniture I already have?
Yes. If it is made of wood, ceramic or certain other materials then we can. We can even remove and dents and scratches the furniture currently has and bring it back to life.
How long will it take to make me a custom coffee table?
From the day we have the exact design, measurements and table legs in stock, it will take roughly three weeks complete.Â
Is there somewhere I can view some samples?
